After a weekend of quilting, I’m mostly done another quilt. This one was done with a charm pack of A Walk in the Woods fabric by Aneela Hoey for Moda. All I have left to do is the binding, but I screwed up one of the corners as I was sewing it on, so I need to fix that and then do the hand stitching to complete it.
I can’t remember what I had originally planned for this fabric collection, but it was either something much bigger (this is a baby quilt) or I temporarily lost my ability to do math because I have a huge amount of the grey and red backing fabric left. Not that I’m complaining. It’s nice fabric and I’m sure I won’t have any problem using it up eventually.
I guess I should probably also consider what I’m going to do for a label as this one isn’t destined for anyone in particular. I just made it because I had the fabric. I have a couple more planned and potential quilts like that. I suppose I’ll sell them, eventually.
Next on my list is a quilt for me, but I might postpone that as I haven’t finalized my plans and I want to plan it carefully as it’s big and I’m not using a pattern.
