These pictures are from December 1st (2013), but I thought I’d share anyway. It took me FOREVER to get the picture of the moon because I’m too much of a slacker to learn proper photography, so I had to do a lot of testing, adjusting, more adjusting and hoping for the best. Frankly, I’m a bit surprised at how well it turned out (I highly recommend clicking through to see the bigger version on Flickr).
By late morning, the sun was up and the fog (probably ice crystals, actually) had moved into the river valley.
I can’t help but love pictures like this. It’s just really neat being able to see the sun through a natural filter of fog.
